About BE THE LEADER

#2 edited.jpg

Society's pace is getting faster and faster. We not only expect our leaders to keep up, but to stay ahead of the curve. In addition, those at the top of major companies, governments, and organizations are nearing retirement age and those baby boomers are starting to turn over the reins to younger generations. These are just some of the reasons that leadership is more important than ever, making a perfect scenario for great leaders to rise to the occasion.

I've always been fascinated by the topic of leadership; studying leaders and those that exemplify leadership. I have put these skills into practice in all walks of life; from Culver Military Academy high school, to Hampden-Sydney College, to my business career, to my personal life. I have had many amazing opportunities; I have trained, recruited, and set the pace for hundreds of direct face-to-face and indirect sales and marketing teams, owned my own company, and have started to learn the ropes of big business.

Over time, it became evident that one of the true measures of a leader is how many quality leaders he or she can create and influence. My passion is helping others.

We want leaders that have a vision that inspire us, teach us, and help us develop the best version of ourselves. This blog discusses leadership for people at all levels of an organization, all ages, and all walks of life. The blog started with a fortune cookie from a Chinese restaurant in Cape Cod. The fortune cookie read, "Today you should be the leader. Things will go your way". I am writing this blog about leadership with the hopes that it will help others develop and live better lives, making the world a better place one person a time.
